Your privacy is our absolute priority. The Sign In Pro browser extension was built specifically with data security in mind for developers and testers.

1. Data Collection & Storage

We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data on our servers. We do not run any analytics, tracking, or telemetry scripts.

All credentials, settings, and Vault Data you save using Sign In Pro are stored strictly locally within your own browser's sandboxed `chrome.storage.local` environment.

2. Cloud Sync (Google Drive)

If you choose to enable the optional "Cloud Sync" feature, the extension requests access to your personal Google Drive (`drive.appdata` and `userinfo.email` scopes). This functionality operates under the following strict conditions:

• End-to-End Encryption: Your credentials are encrypted on your device using a Master Sync Password (AES-GCM encryption) before they ever leave your browser.
• Isolated Storage: The encrypted backup file is stored in a hidden, application-specific folder in your Google Drive. It is not accessible to other apps.
• Direct Connection: The extension communicates directly with the Google Drive API. No intermediary servers or third-party services are ever involved.
• Email Display: Your email address is only retrieved locally to display within the extension's Options page so you know which account is connected. It is never stored or transmitted elsewhere.

3. Permissions Explained

• storage: Required to save your encrypted credentials locally in your browser.
• activeTab: Required to inject the floating widget and autofill credentials only on the tab you actively interact with.
• identity: Required strictly to authenticate you with Google if you choose to use the Google Drive Cloud Sync feature.

4. Changes to this Policy

If we update this privacy policy, we will post the changes on this page. Because we do not collect your email address, we cannot notify you directly.

5. Limited Use Policy Compliance

In accordance with the Chrome Web Store Limited Use Policy, we explicitly declare that your data is:

• Not being transferred or used for purposes that are unrelated to the item's core functionality.
• Not being transferred or used to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
• Not being sold to third parties, outside of the approved use cases.
